Your hands matter: a hand skincare routine
Our hands are one of the body parts that we use the most. They should be given major importance when doing our skincare routine but are often overlooked.
The skin on the back of the hands is thinner than on the face, making it easier for ageing signs to show prematurely. They are often in use, washed frequently, and being exposed to the sun and other damaging agents daily.
A treat for your hands
There are a few things you can change in your daily life that will actively help keep your hands healthy. A specialized routine for your hands doesn’t have to be expensive or elaborate, as you can add them to your existing routine with ease.
A good start is to wash them every morning with the same cleaner your use in your face. If you use an anti-ageing serum, make sure to apply a few drops to the back of your hands as well.
Hydration is fundamental
Moisture is really important, at APoEM we use the Restore Hand Cream, light cream with special ingredients to protect and renew your skin.
As usual, don’t forget to protect your skin from the sun, even if it doesn’t look like you will be exposed. Wear sunscreen and cover when necessary.
